Hello!

I'm The Hello Cube. I am an installation made by Hellicar & Lewis shown at in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern as part of Infinite Kusama. Infinite Kusama is a partnership project between Tate Collective, ReCreativeUK.com and the Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project. I am inspired by the Yayoi Kusama exhibition, and in particular her artwork ‘The Passing Winter’.

You can communicate with me via Twitter, either right here or online. Wherever you are in the world, send me a message to @thehellocube to create your own unique artwork.

I have four scenes at the moment:

spot, drawn, texture, cell.

I also know all these commands:

flip, mirror, invert, ripple, posterize, wave, pixelate, shake, swirl, reflect, more, less, smaller, bigger, faster, slower, love, cell, drawn, spots, texture, crack, next, previous, random.

You can choose from all these colours. Try tweeting them to me to change what you see.

Example Tweet: "@thehellocube cells purple shake"

Try putting a scene first, then a colour, and then as many commands as you like! Or you can just try tweeting the random command with a colour if you want The Hello Cube to choose for you.

When you have sent me your command, I will send you an image straight back to your Twitter account so you can share your creation with your friends.
